The course you are about to undertake is not intended to be a seminary course, nor a course in Hermeneutics, or Systematic Theology. Rather I hope it to be plain and a simple statement of what we believe the Bible teaches respecting the main and essential Doctrines of the Christian faith and the application of Biblical principles to all areas of Christian living.
It is designed to help the lay person in general as one seeks to understand and grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. But as the scripture itself says: "...the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness unto him; neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." (1 Corinthians 2:14)
My hope and prayer is that you come to the place that you realize that "spiritual discernment" comes only from knowing the author in a personal way, and it will be used to make you stronger, as well as bolster and build you up in your own
personal faith.
